We have entered a period of government lawlessness, led by the United States, with inevitably serious consequences for everyone. Nuclear war is a possibility. With climate change threatening the planet itself, we do not need this as well. Europe must cease supporting this berserk state. It needs to recover the vision, the spirit of goodwill and humanity that laid the foundations of the European Union. In following America, Europe has lost its way.

American behaviour extends beyond inhumanity into viciousness. The character of Barack Obama, which in dealing with non-Americans is no different from that of George W. Bush, also shows the American characteristic of cruelty without limits.

The Totalitarianizing of Britain: The crushing of eco-protest brings shame on our police

This blogger among others echoed Noam Chomsky's warning after 911 that the greatest danger facing the West was not from terrorism but from the assault on our liberties that would inevitably take place as a result of the 'security measures' that would be put in place. Predictably, that assault took place and the rule of law has been replaced, thanks to Messrs Bush and Blair, by police state rule.

The persecution of Muslims was just the beginning. Now that that phase has mostly played itself out the next to be persecuted are domestic dissidents and protest groups. What the UK police did at Kingsnorth last year and more recently at the London G20 protests mark a more ominous turn of the screw.

Gradually, those in the establishment are waking up. Let's hope that there is still time in order to halt what looks like an inexorable slide into totalitarianism. Journalist, Henry Porter, writes in yesterday's Observer:

This is the end-product of the disastrous legislative assault on Britain's rights and liberties inaugurated by Tony Blair. We are now in a crisis of moral or perhaps deep psychic inconsistency, with a government that in one half of its brain desires good PR on climate change but in the other half seethes with the authoritarian desire to stamp out an impertinent challenge to its record of inactivity. The manifestation of this arrogance can be seen in the police officers at the G20 demonstrations who covered their faces and removed their identifying numbers from their uniforms before lashing out at demonstrators - perhaps killing Ian Tomlinson - and the tactic of "kettling", which wrongly deprives people of their liberty, as well as risks their safety.

So what does it Take for the People to Rise Up?

Following the terrorising of protestors by the Twin Cities pigs at the US National Republican Convention, Ron Jacobs writes a good piece in The Dissident Voice saying:

I don’t give a rat’s ass about the Jerry Springer-like drama playing out around the GOP vice presidential pick Sarah Palin. Let me also state that I seriously wonder how long it will be before the folks that vote for the Republicans year in and year out realize that the men and women they are voting to rule them are part of the Washington elite just as much as the Democrats they despise.

He goes on:

What I do care about in terms of this week in Minnesota is what is going on outside the convention. From all reports in the media outlets that cover that which is not scripted by the GOP, the streets of the Twin Cities have been turned into a zone where police terror is permitted and even encouraged ... In addition, police have attacked protesters, journalists and bystanders with clubs, pepper spray, and tear gas. So far, close to five hundred people have been arrested. Most of them are being held in open air detention centers.

But this state terrorism wasn't carried out merely as a local operation. Clearly it had been carefully planned a long way ahead of events, not just by city authorities but by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. No doubt all the way back to the thugs in the White House.

These arrests, while certainly of questionable legality, are but the tip of the iceberg. On September 3, 2008, eight members of the RNC Welcoming Committee– some of the primary organizers of the protests–were formally charged with Conspiracy to Riot in Furtherance of Terrorism. These eight were among those arrested in the pre-convention raids and, according to the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), face up to 7 1/2 years imprisonment each.

The evidence collected by the pigs to substantiate these charges is in itself laughable, were the charges not so serious:

None of the defendants have any prior criminal history involving acts of violence. Searches conducted in connection with the raids failed to turn up any physical evidence to support the allegations of organized attacks on law enforcement. ” Because no physical evidence of this nature was found, police seized common household items like lighters, cleaning fluid, some nails and a couple hatchets and claimed that these items were to be used to incite insurrection. In addition, police claimed they confiscated two buckets of what they called (I’m serious here) “weaponized urine.” What these buckets actually contained was gray water used to flush toilets at the house where they were found. According to police, other seized materials included other types of household tools, padding (probably to protect people from police truncheons), some pvc pipe and an army helmet.

Jacobs sums up:

At this writing, the charges brought against the eight are state charges. It is unknown whether or not federal authorities have any plans to charge these eight or any of the others arrested. What is known is that, much like Chicago forty years ago, the primary cause of any riots that might occur in the Twin Cities are the result of unconstitutional police actions supported by local officials, the national party nominating its warmongering candidate, and the federal police state apparatus. Indeed, the events of forty years ago were termed a police riot by a federal commission formed to investigate the disturbances.

Police terrorism of this kind is not only restricted to the US. Here in the UK it has got much worse in the last decade or so since Tony Blair, who no doubt on Bush's orders imported the 'War on Terror' and chickenhawk fascism to Britain. As the US Constitution has been demolished by these Bringers of Chaos so our eight-centuries'-old Magna Carta and Habeas Corpus have been effectively done in and done away with. The pattern is predictable: if it happens in the US today, we'll have it here by tomorrow.

The Rule of Law has been given the death sentence.

You think I jest? Well here's an example of how the Rule of Law is turned upside-down by the very people responsible for its legislation: For over a year now some of us have been trying to get the UK police constabulary to bring charges of war crimes against Tony Blair and Co. Now there is no question that these are common war criminals we're dealing with. The International Criminal Court Act of 2001 goes to great lengths to describe their crimes.

But it appears that war crimes are, after all, a political matter and nothing to do with the process of justice. War crimes are something we hang around the necks of our enemies once we have fought and won a war against them in which we ourselves commit countless war crimes against the innocent victims who got in our way: 'collateral damage' it's called. Very sad. Too bad. But that's war you know and once we've won we can attach all the blame for all the killing on those horrid people we had to go to war against in the first place. We did it to the Germans and we're doing it to the Serbs right now (and that'll learn 'em to mess about with us!)

That last bit in brackets, of course, is hissed inaudibly by the Judge so that only the Clerk of Court can hear it. It wouldn't do for us commoners to hear just what a stitch-up the judicial process can be when it has to deal with its political enemies. Well we discovered that when we reported Blair and his fellow war criminals to the British plods. In most cases they just scratched their heads bemusedly.

"Nothing to do with us. Complain to the politicians!" they replied in dismissal. So we took it to the politicians --in my case to Scotland's First Minister, Alex Salmond, 'Our Eck'. "Nothing to do with me," he replied predictably. "Don't expect me to waste police time!"

Which only goes to show just how knowledgeable your average politician, be he never so high, is of national and international law. The ICC Act of 2001 is modelled on the Rome Statute of 1998 and was legislated into being by the MPs who were sitting at that time in Westminster's House of Commons. MPs, it should be recalled, including one Alex Salmond. But then a week in politics is a long time as the late Harold Wilson once observed and the memory of your average MP very much shorter.

Well, my own complaint was finally taken seriously by a politically savvy Chief Constable who neatly passed the buck onto the Counter Terrorism Command at Scotland Yard. Now why, you may ask, should the reporting of a crime be passed onto Counter Terrorism? Does this mean that the British police, in their wisdom, consider our politicians to be potential terrorists? Or is it really we who are being reported for daring to uphold the Rule of Law in the case of such crimes?

It seems that we stepped out of line and are now being investigated for possible terrorist offences. For having carried out Britain's first known civil obedience campaign, asking the powers that be to carry out their own laws, we have been turned into terrorist suspects! Now what does that tell you about the inverted bizarro world in which we find ourselves today?

I could go on to describe the surveillance state in which we long-suffering Brits live today, where there are more CCTV cameras spying on us than anywhere else in the world. I grew up in the Cold War of the 'sixties when we were fed scare stories about those dreadful Reds in the totalitarian Soviet Union. Ha! And look at us now! Betcha any money those Russkies don't have anywhere near the CCTV and other surveillance we have! And doesn't that prove our technological superiority!?

Just how much repression are we in the Anglo-American world prepared to take before we rise up against our tormentors? How many millions does it take to shiver and starve and die in the cold of midwinter as many of us soon surely will? If nothing else does it, empty stomachs soon leads to revolt. And this is where the manner in which our governments treats protestors returns for our consideration. For if what we are seeing in the US and in Britain, conveniently justified as a 'War against Terror', is anything to go by then we're in for a very rough time indeed. The events of 911 and 77 were only just the beginning. We ain't seen nothin' yet.

So let me finish this rant by repeating here the thoughts of a fellow Brit on the significance of events at the RNC for not just north Americans but their distant cousins on this overcrowded little island:

What this shows is the extent the authorities will still go to protect the interests they serve. [These are] unfortunately effective tactics.

Where this breaks down is if the protest movement can reach a critical mass. Squashing even a few hundred and arresting a few dozen is one thing. But if protests become the norm across the country then they can't 100s of thousands. Numbers reduce them to impotence.

Unfortunately, mass based organising whilst extensive cannot get that kind of number out consistently. You need millions of people who are prepared to risk prison and criminal records. And when you're mortgaged and you need to keep a particular kind of job to keep feeding the family then the ability to participate, and take these risks, is curtailed.

However, when ruling elites reduce enough people to a state where you don't give a damn, or the costs of confronting power directly are no longer outweighed by the gains to be achieved through conformance, then you are in a revolutionary state.

It can happen! The ruling class despise most outside of their class instinctively. And they are pulling away in wealth. I suppose as long as the populace have bread and circuses then they might be able to brazen it out for a while yet!

Why are Tony Blair and Gordon Brown trying to deny us the Charter of Fundamental Rights?

What with all the media spin by the UK Government and the European Union and the shallow analysis and reporting by the mainstream media, we are puzzled as to what exactly has been agreed at the European Union summit in Brussels this weekend.

We are still especially worried about what exactly Tony Blair and Gordon Brown have agreed to with regard to the European Union Reform Treaty and especially, the legally binding Charter of Fundamental Rights (.pdf) These sort of follow the European Convention on Human Rights and the UK's Human Rights Act 2000:

Article 7 Respect for private and family life

Everyone has the right to respect for his or her private and family life, home and communications.

Article 8 Protection of personal data

1. Everyone has the right to the protection of personal data concerning him or her.

2. Such data must be processed fairly for specified purposes and on the basis of the consent of the person concerned or some other legitimate basis laid down by law. Everyone has the right of access to data which has been collected concerning him or her, and the right to have it rectified.

3. Compliance with these rules shall be subject to control by an independent authority.

However, there are significant differences i,e, there are no explicit exemptions for the Government using vague weasel words like "national security" or "the prevention or detection of crime" or "public health" or "the economic interests of the UK" etc. which so much UK legislation has embedded into it.

Nothing seems to have changed since we commented on this back in 2004: Have the pundits actually bothered to read the EU Constitution ?

Is there really a workable United Kingdom "opt out" from these clauses ?

If so, then why should we tolerate authoritarian Labour politicians who seek to deny us these human rights, which are enjoyed and legally enforced by the rest of the European Union ?

We demand that these existing human rights are upheld now and ratified by this UK Government and all future ones.

Although this article was published last June the points being made are still highly relevant. The Blair/Brown regime has cunningly cashed in on the innate Europhobia of the British (and in particular the English) by using a wholly unfounded disaffection among Brits for the European Union to exert pressure on other member nations and the Commission in order to extract 'concessions' from the Union, not in the interests of the common people but on behalf of the vested interests of British capital and the ruling classes.

The high level of ignorance and Europhobic prejudice amongst Brits was deliberately nurtured by British politicians and their attendant media in order to use it as a weapon against progressive European social and civil rights.

At the recent meeting at Lisbon, not only did the Brits insist on their right to opt put of the new Charter but went out of their way to water-down the Charter nevertheless. Proof indeed of the mischievous intent of the Brits to act as a reactionary force within the EU working, no doubt, in the interests of Washington's neocons.

The British, along with others on the Right in countries like Poland, are now seen by other Europeans to be a trojan horse for Washington. They play an entirely destructive role as an adversary of the EU. While doing so they ensure that their own people are kept ignorant of the deceptive game they are playing.

Ultimately, it is the British people who will pay the price and that they have now begun to do with Britain's inexorable slide into becoming a full-blown police state. The time has already come when those of us in Britain who consider ourselves to be rightfully citizens of Europe to mobilize ourselves against these tinpot dictators. All is not yet lost and I believe the time has come, as European citizens, to make a direct appeal to the European Union to help us protect our fundamental civil rights against an oppressive, domestic government.

Britz: a Commentary

I've just finished watching the second part of Britz on Channel Four. I very rarely watch Channel Four these days due to the unceasing torrent of so-called docudramas on 'terrorism'. Of the little I have watched it was very clear to me that it was all psy ops stuff, propaganda based on the already-established principal of being guilty before having been proved to be so.

Since Tony Blair, taking his orders from the criminal Bush junta, gave the green light to the British mainstream media (MSM) to adopt sly, racist innuendo against Muslims and to demonise them, it is very clear to me that not only is Britain still very much a racist country but that that racism has now come out in the open with a nod and a wink from the Blair/Brown governments.

I watched this movie with interest because it seemed to me to be a brave attempt by predominantly white folk to show to a predominantly white audience just what it is that drives certain individuals in the British Muslim community in different directions, one to join the British establishment's secret services and the other to become a suicide bomber.

Yes, of course the plot presented us with caricatures of reality but that was deliberate and intended to make a point: in this case about a cultural group with immigrant roots that finds itself divided in a western society which, with its own agenda, is now persecuting that group and its British-born children.

And yes, that persecution all results from the need of US and British capital to dominate the planet's Oil and Gas resources leading to a US foreign policy based on all-out aggression and imperialism. A foreign policy which the then Premier of the USA's Number One Vassal State, Britain, adopted in its entirety with no questions asked.

The movie ends with a video recording of the dead suicide bomber warning the British that until they cease to support quisling governments supporting aggressive US foreign policy the bombing will go on.

The bombing will go on as long as the West's bombing goes on. This is a war. An asymmetrical war, but a war nonetheless.

The makers of the movie point to the 7/7 bombers as having had a similar intention. The problem there, in my opinion, is that the 7/7 plot was never proven. To this day it has remained an allegation against a group of Muslims by a British government that is characterised, if anything, by the lies it told its people about why Britain joined Bush's war crime against Iraq.

As an ex-colonial I learnt as a young child never to trust the British (government). No British colonial, whether white or of colour, trusted Whitehall. So treating British governments with suspicion comes as easily to me as it might to the Irish. For that and other reasons I never believed the official conspiracy story about 911 nor 7/7. And the fact that to this day there has been no investigation about 7/7, independent or otherwise, must remain the greatest indicator of the British government's complicity in that event.

Britz hammered out the reality of how Control Orders are being used against British Muslims in a manner reminiscent of White Apartheid South Africa. Even the Irish, who for 800 years were the victims of British imperialism, were never subjected to such oppression. An oppression which was solely the result of one man, Tony Blair, whose very credentials for having joined the Labour Party must themselves remain in doubt and as a thing of suspicion.

For it is a fact that Blair was recruited by MI5 when he was at Oxford University and his track record indicates that his political mission was not only to destroy the foundations of Labour Party social democracy but to tie Britain in a death-pact of "shared values" with US capitalism. The fabricated 'War on Terrorism' which was a straight import from the Bush cabal was part of that death-pact. As for Brown, the foundations of a British police state having been laid for him, all he has to do is to build upon it and to keep steering the ship of state on that course.

It is in that light that Britz should be seen, where Muslims finding themselves at the sharp edge of 21st century British imperialism, are very much the 'canary in the cage', the first societal group in mainland Britain to experience the new fascism of the British state.

The rest won't be long coming because, having used their fake 'War on Terrorism' in order to destroy our freedom, having used the inherent racism of whites to scapegoat a sector of British society of colour, these pretend 'anti-terrorist' laws will be used, sickeningly predictably, against all those, white or of colour, who disagree with government policy.

Indeed, I would go so far as to suggest that this article will be unpublishable within the next five years.

Britz was a warning to the people of Britain what will happen if they continue to turn their heads away from reality. For, in the name of their fabricated 'war on terror' the real agenda of both US and British capital is to turn their societies into internal police states and external aggressors conducting a war against the rest of humanity on a permanent footing.

The Psychosis of Islamophobia and Anti-Semitism

Those behind the organisation of an illegal demonstration -- supposedly against the "Islamisation of Europe" but what will, in effect, be a gathering ground for anti-semites (against both Jew and Muslim), racists, extreme right national chauvinists and other such low-life -- are ostensibly the SIOE whose spokesperson, Netha, is quoted in a Breaking News article below.

This march has been banned by the Brussels municipal authorities on perfectly legal grounds provided for in the European Convention of Human Rights, ie that it is likely to lead to confrontation and clashes between opposing groups and thus threaten public safety.

In ignoring the ban and calling for it to go ahead the SIOE is not only preparing to act outside the law but in a manner very likely to provoke confrontations likely to lead to violence, putting the safety and lives of innocent citizens at risk. This kind of provocative attitude is characteristic of the racists whose hate inevitably bursts out in violence.

Some years back, Britain's racist National Front attempted a similar march in Aberdeen and we were able to pressure the Aberdeen municipal council and the Police into using the same legal provisos of the Human Rights Convention to ban that march. Since then the National Front and their hangers-on have not dared to show their faces in public in the north of Scotland.

So on behalf of my French comrades and Opération SCHITA I wish the Burgomaster of Brussels, Freddy Thielemans, all good luck in ensuring that the streets of Brussels are kept clean of the chickenhawk nazis. As for myself, I do not believe in showing any mercy to such types. Racism and anti-semitism are not only behavioural aberrations, they are rooted in a form of individual and collective psychosis which, given a chance, can spread like wildfire throughout communities.

The chickenhawk nazis know that full well and wait, like vultures, to exploit fear and ignorance to spread their vile sickness. George Bush and Tony Blair knew it too when, with the engineers of 911, they fabricated an entirely false "War on Terror" in which the systematic demonisation of Muslims played a vital part. By doing so they were not only able to carry out their imperialistic adventures in the interest of multinational capitalism but distracted their publics from the economic crimes and attacks on civil liberties they committed, on behalf of capital, against our societies.

Neo-Nazi racism and anti-semitism has to be stamped-on hard so I for one would not lose a moment's sleep if the hard-headed nazis were to be water-cannoned, tear-gassed, tasered, beaten black and blue and served with exemplary prison sentences for defying the law. Sadly, however, I fear that the Belgian police will placate them with only kid gloves.

What Bush, Blair and the chickenhawk nazis have in common is that they are past masters in lying and deceit, abuse, terror and predatory exploitation. They will twist events and turn them on their head, they have no concern for the suffering of others just so long as they can achieve their own greedy ends.

An example of this is how the shadowy characters behind the predominantly Francophone blogs of Les Grouiks (which Blogger refuses to close down even though they clearly contravene Blogger's own contractual terms) spit and snarl at anyone who dares to oppose them. My colleague, Christine Louis-Quéré, has for years been a target for such character assassination. Similarly, our comrade, Xavier-Yves Pedri who organises Opération SCHITA to expose the racists.

Now, I have become a target for Les Grouiks whose defamatory article against me includes a vomitory of insults which ends in calling me a "Kosher Pig", proving that these people are anti-semites period: as much against Jews as they are Muslims. On one occasion, when a Jewish Rabbi in Marseilles donated funds towards the building of a Muslim mosque, the poor man was hounded and abused by the chickenhawk nazis.

The obsessive manner in which Les Grouiks and their fellow-travellers attack, defame, misrepresent and threaten those who oppose them suggests not just a predatory nastiness but something more akin to a demonic psychosis.

The Brits screwed the whole thing up and have a bad reputation, they have systematically leveraged US assets and power, their idea is basically to get the US to spend the blood and treasure to further British interests, there will be lies, lies and more lies from the Brits, they have just polarized the whole Islamic world again by mischievously giving Salman Rushdie a knighthood, recommending Blair for this role is just plain dumb.

Of course it's dumb, no question of that. After all the havoc and destruction caused in Afghanistan and Iraq and with around a million dead, to put Blair in again is to put the fox in the chicken coop. And yet you can see why Bush is so attracted to the idea.

For Blair is more than Bush's toady, he has all along been an enthusiastic warmonger, keen to spill the blood of Her Satanic Majesty's subjects in the name of the Anglo-Saxon empire, even when (according to Condi Rice) he was told that it would not be necessary.

No, Mr Sissons, the only place that Tony Blair should be going to is the Hague for trial and from there to a place of lifelong penal servitude. As you appear to be such an enthusiastic promoter of Blair's war crimes perhaps you should join him with the rest of the whoring MSM.

Outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair has savaged online media today in a speech in which he declared war on the free press by hinting at new restrictions on internet journalism and suggested that the media should be brought more into line with the government.

Blair complained that the media was too "feral" (i.e. not tamed by the government) and referring to online journalism stated:

"In fact, the new forms can be even more pernicious, less balanced, more intent on the latest conspiracy theory multiplied by five."

This is an outright call for a crackdown on the free press. Blair is out in the open here saying the media is too independent of the government, he is admitting that the freedom with which the media, especially online, is now operating is hurting his government and its agenda.

Blair could face Trial for War Crimes

LONDON, June 12--TONY BLAIR could face prosecution for war crimes in Iraq following a legal bid launched yesterday.

Former SNP MP Jim Sillars has handed a 10,000-word dossier to Lord Advocate Eilish Angiolini urging her to charge the PM under Scots law.

He claims Blair should be held to account for conspiring to overthrow Saddam Hussein's regime and for starting the war in Iraq.

Both are illegal under international law. An attempt to have Blair hauled before a criminal court in England failed after lawyers said it wasn't the place to deal with international law.

But Sillars claims Scottish courts have the power to try Blair for war crimes if they believe an established offence, such as murder, has been committed in the process.

Sillars said: "There can be no prosecution at the international criminal court because it doesn't have jurisdiction."

"There is no chance of a special court being established by the United Nations because Britain and the United States have the veto at the Security Council. There is no chance of a prosecution in England and Wales."

"But of course Scots law is an entirely different entity, an entirely different jurisdiction with different rules, procedures and instruments available to it."

Sillars said he had been told by legal experts that the Prime Minister has a case to answer.

And he warned: "The Lord Advocate would have to give a very good explanation why, with the evidence presented, she didn't instigate an investigation -- because we have jurisdiction."

Sillars spent six months putting together his complaint, which was lodged last Friday.

In a letter to the Lord Advocate, he said: "I am requesting you to investigate this complaint and prosecute in a Scottish court."

"Although I have a political past, this complaint is based on legal principles and case law, and I shall be obliged if you will examine it in that light and in that light alone."

Sillars, who was assistant secretary general with the Arab/British Chamber of Commerce for 14 years, said Britain and the US are constantly harangued as hypocrites throughout the Arab world.

He explained: "We preach the rule of law. We preach accountability inherent in democracy."

"But when it comes to applying international law, we seem to find it politically inconvenient to pursue the law as it should be pursued."

"The war on terror won't be won by bombs, bullets, aeroplanes and rockets - it will be won by winning the argument at an intellectual, moral level."

Sillars' complaint was launched at the same time as the latest move by the Tories at Westminster to get a new inquiry in the Iraq war -- but they will not join forces as Sillars is seeking a criminal conviction.

Blair's Kaleidoscope Dystopia

Significantly, one of the last things that Tony Blair does before finally quitting (don't believe it until it happens) is to go off to greet the British military occupation on a rah-rah tour in Iraq. A mortar attack was made on the British Embassy but unfortunately missed hitting Blair who went on to give a heart-rending speech on what a great job 'Our Boys' were doing defending good ol' Freedom 'n' Democracy and making the Matrix World a safer place to live in, blah, blah, blah.

Meantime, ex-Prez Jimmy Carter is reported by the BBC to opine on Blair in tones which if not quite Red Pill are still an embarrassing pink.

Criticising Blair for his "blind" support of the war in Iraq Carter said the UK's "almost undeviating" support for "the ill-advised policies of President Bush in Iraq had been a major tragedy for the world."

"... I think the combination of Bush and Blair giving their support to this tragedy in Iraq has strengthened the effort and has made the opposition less effective and prolonged the war and increased the tragedy that has resulted."

The Iraq invasion had "caused deep schisms on a global basis", said Carter, and he hoped Mr Blair's successor, Gordon Brown, would be less enthusiastic in his support for it.

Jimmy Carter's outspoken condemnation of Blair followed a similar interview he gave to BBC Newsnight last year when he expressed his disappointment at the "apparently" subservient attitude of the British government towards the White House. Carter went on to observe how enthusiastically Blair had helped to influence Bush's war-mongering by adding "a very strong voice from London in the shaping of a common policy."

"I have been really disappointed in the apparent subservience of the British government's policies related to many of the serious mistakes that have been originated in Washington," he added.

"No matter what kind of radical or ill-advised policy was proposed from the White House, it seems to me that almost automatically the government of Great Britain would adopt the same policy without exerting its influence."

Well, this is about as candid as any establishment political figure is going to get. Apart, that is, from the priceless comment by Sir Rodric Braithwaite (UK ambassador to Moscow 1988-92, then foreign policy adviser to John Major and chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee) who described the miserable Blair as "a frayed and waxy zombie straight from Madame Tussaud’s."

"This one," Sir Rodric continued, "seems to live and breathe. Perhaps it comes from the Central Intelligence Agency’s box of technical tricks, programmed to spout the language of the White House in an artificial English accent."

"Perhaps," of course, is a deliberate understatement by an ex-intelligence boss who knows full well Blair's long history as an informant and quisling whose CIA-directed mission was to finally destroy the reformist tendencies of the British Labour Party as well as his country's freedoms.

When the establishment begins to talk in those terms you can be sure that political affairs have not just deteriorated, they have taken on the proportions of a Titanic listing badly before being sucked down into an unforgiving abyss.

The list of Blair's crimes are endless: in his youth an MI5 informant, a war criminal who not only lied to his parliament and people about non-existent WMD's but who actively used his intelligence services to fabricate lies in order to feed them to their CIA counterparts and a compliant media. Leo Strauss, the architect of the 'noble lie', kiss-my-ass philosophy of the neocons would have been delighted in how deftly his acolyte, the Bliar, was able to put the science of spin, distortion and invention into service. So would Goebbels, he of the Big Lie.

Not only was the Iraq invasion justified by a stream of well-orchestrated lies where Bush and Blair were fed just the kind of 'intelligence' they instructed their spooks to feed them it was, by an incredible sleight-of-hand, made to seem like a necessary act in an equally fake 'war on terror' where Saddam Hussein and the nebulous Al-Qaeda were held responsible for 911.

Though taken in by the Al-CIA-duh link to 911 story few in Europe bought the contorted logic linking both to Saddam Hussein. But it didn't matter a damn because the target audience to persuade was not in Europe but with the folks down home in Amerikkay. And they bought it hook, line and sinker, thanks to the force-feeding techniques used by the Bushblair duo and their media sycophants on both sides of the Atlantic.

Just hours after 911, Noam Chomsky, in an interview on a then relatively free BBC World Service, warned the world that the real impact of 911 would follow in a world of rapidly-deteriorating civil liberties. He was exactly right and an inexorable onslaught on civil liberties followed where the diabolic duo used their fabricated 'war on terror' and the excuse of 'security' to overturn the basic tenets, such as Magna Carta and Habeas Corpus, upon which Anglo-Saxon law was founded eight hundred years ago.

The havoc wreaked upon our freedoms by these satanic minions is much greater than anything their erstwhile counterpart, Adolf Hitler, was able to bring about in a war-torn world. And yet it follows on nicely in a descending curve of civilised values which Hitler and Mussolini would have been delighted to see their political descendants bring about in a world betrayed by smooth-talking gangsters.

The 'war on terror' was never what it was purported to be. More correctly it was a war of terror in which the ultimate goal is to dismantle the old, so-called 'politics of consensus' of the post WWII period, where social spending was considered an important aspect of developing capitalism, and to replace it with something far more brutal disguised by the economic description of 'liberalization' and 'globalization.'

A fake 911, the 'war on terror', homeland security, the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan, the neocon Blueprint for a New American Century, a racist scapegoating and terrorizing of Muslim communities, all these are but the various building-blocks by which a New World Order is being created. The same new world order that Blair predicted would follow in a speech given not long after 911 in which he claimed that "the Kaleidoscope" had been shaken and when the pieces fell back into place the fractal reality of a new world order would have come about.

How many professional 'commentators' would have rashly said what they knew to be the truth: that 911 was a carefully-orchestrated event deliberately brought about to give the likes of Bush and Blair a Pearl Harbour event to justify their war-mongering in the name of Big Oil and the betrayal of their people's freedoms? How many editors would have dared to risk their careers by publishing anything but the official spin on 911 or the warnings of Chomsky that 911 would presage a new dark age of totalitarianism?

It was left to the politically marginalised sectors of a prison planet to get the truth out by any means they could find, predominantly the internet. For nearly six years now, this writer has played his part in that small band. And we shall continue until such time as the likes of Bush and Blair are successful in finally being able to control the internet and turn us into 'non-persons', beings who simply do not exist in the fractal-reality of the dystopia they intended when they shook the kaleidoscope so violently on 11 September 2001.

Is this Scotland's Prague Spring?

Last Thursday night's election count in Scotland was, as reported earlier, chaotic. A complete fiasco caused by the Nu Labor-controlled Scottish Office and executive. Despite any losses it might have made through the confusion, the Scottish National Party (SNP) narrowly won pole position, as the illustration above shows, to form a government in this country.

Nu Labor (or New Labour as it likes to consider itself) has, over the last 50 years, ruled Scotland and this led it to believe that it has some kind of Divine Right to do so. It was a terrible blow to their misplaced pride to discover that this mystical right has finally been denied it. I have never seen Tony Blair looking quite so shell-shocked as he appeared yesterday on discovering the punishment meted out to him by the electorate on both sides of the border.

With characteristic sour grapes at least one losing Labour candidate is now "considering taking legal action", using the claim he might have lost votes in the spoilt ballot papers scandal. Something for which the very administration, in which he played a leading part, is responsible!

Meantime, the astute, some say charismatic, SNP leader Alex Salmond and his 46 stalwart MSPs are faced with a terrible dilemma. How are they going to become the next government in a Scotland they would like to steer towards independence from England?

Proportional Representation is an electoral system which while producing a clearer reflection of the actual votes cast lends itself to government by coalition. In the past the Atlanticist Labour and Liberal Democrat parties have been quite happy to go to bed with each other. After all, they have so much in common that it is really impossible to distinguish between the two.

In foreign policy, both are quite happy for the UK as it presently is to continue being shafted by NATO and Washington's militarist, unipolar world tyranny. In domestic policy both parties oppose Scotland pulling out of the joke that is the United Kingdom because --and most important-- it would not only end an imperialist Union that was brought about by bribery, betrayal and threat but throw the cosy Atlanticist 'special relationship' between the warmongers in the US and UK into a final disarray.

In this 'special relationship', Scotland is one vast military base and exercise ground for Whitehall's war office, the misnomer that is the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The UK's equally falsely named 'independent' nuclear 'deterrent' is based in the Clyde estuary near Glasgow. Hardly anyone in Scotland approves of its presence there.

But Scots have no choice because all military decisions are made in England by the mandarin descendants of a jingoistic and warmongering past only kept alive by the hollow facade of a cosmetic, United Kingdom. The day that travesty is finally brought to an end through Scottish independence the evil old pretence that masks the imperialism of England's ruling classes will finally come crashing down.

That is why neither the English-controlled Nu Labor or Liberal Democrats will entertain the idea of a SNP-led administration in Scotland. And why they both oppose the SNP's commitment to give the Scottish people the right to make up their own minds about independence in a referendum proposed to be held within the first term of an administration led by it.

So finally we see how Scotland's democratic right, compromised by the electoral scandal for which both Labour and the Libdems are entirely responsible, is now being threatened by the same two whose claim to rule is exposed to the world as a thing of corruption and they as the real enemies of democracy.

Scotland is a small nation of slightly over 5 million folk. But small is beautiful and, in its case, powerful because its destiny in the months to come could bring about much greater changes on both sides of the Atlantic. Let's hope that the SNP's victory does not turn out to be another Prague Spring and Alex Salmond become another Dubcek. If that were to happen the militarist, imperialist forces that will be behind the coup against democracy would be, as usual these days, the London and Washington, DC Anglo-Saxon alliance.

Blair's revenge?

Blair's Corrupt Britannia rigs the Scottish Elections

Up all night watching the electoral results of the Scottish parliamentary and municipal elections. For the first time it seemed as if the Scottish National Party (SNP) had a chance of leading the next Scots Parliament at Holyrood.

Everyone was expecting Nu Labor to get a hammering north of the border.

But, hey! Guess what. It looks like Tony Blair's corrupt crowd have done a Bush fix and stolen the election from under our very noses!

Very early on, as the election results started to dribble in it was clear that hundreds of ballot papers were being rejected by the Data Research Services' ballot-paper capture scanning software and that the results were failing to be collated and tabulated. An embarrassed spokesman for DRS was interviewed and, as to be expected, gave an extremely defensive reply.

By this morning it had become clear that between 100-150 thousand ballot papers had been rejected by the super dooper DRS system. Turns out that DRS bought over a US company called Peladon which bought imaging systems software from Diebold, the company that gave away two presidential elections to Dubya, the usurper.

So it looks like the good voters of Scotland have been hijacked by the Atlantist neocon, new world odour. Cui bono? A centralized, Stalinist Nu Labor government terrified of losing its stranglehold over a country which might soon insist on its independence and an end to the corrupt Union with England.

When Scotland was given its (restricted) legislature eight years ago a condition was that Westminster would retain its right to run electoral matters in Scotland. Now we can see why. Before the new electoral procedures were implemented --a complicated system of proportional representation using the Additional Member (AM) system for parliamentary elections and the Single Transferable Voting system for municipal ones-- Blair was warned that to hold two such elections simultaneously using different voting systems would lead to confusion and breakdown.

Which is exactly what has happened. Despite all the warnings given, Blair & Co ignored them and carried on regardless. Why? Did he and Nu Labor anticipate an electoral fiasco and deliberately seek to gerrymander an election which the SNP could have won? Why did he go ahead with an electoral machinery that was doomed to fail? If anyone has lost as a result it is likely to be the SNP, the Greens and the small socialist parties which would have benefited from the AM List, the very section which has clearly led to confusion and the rejection of a huge number of votes.

Being a cynic this smells to me of yet another Blair crime. He's a war criminal, after all. A mass-murderer who doesn't give a damn about his victims. Why should he care about the Scots electorate?

I am writing this on the hoof so I haven't had time to research the story in detail. I just want all you out there to know how Blair and his corrupt cronies tried to screw the people of Scotland last night.

There's a lot of very angry folk in Scotland today. This story will run and run.

Blair's grey old, Ahrimanic Britain is becoming a place of regular show trials, the kind which befits the totalitarian state it has become, particularly in the last ten years of his dictatorial, neocon rule.

Today, on evidence that a decade ago would have been thrown out as circumstantial, the latest in Blair's show trials ended with five Muslims being convicted of a bomb plot conspiracy. These days the judges know better than to challenge politicians. The politicization of the judiciary has grown as quickly in Blair's Britain as it has in the USA. That is no accident. What Bush does to destroy civil freedoms in the US, Blair soon mimics. The two hit jobs are a joint operation. It was no accident that the UK (Blair really) so enthusiastically backed the rogue Bush in two illegal wars. So we can now talk about the USUK's Anglo-Saxon alliance.

Bush's entirely spurious 'war on terrorism' was, of course, his justification to con the people of the USA into his murderous enterprise in Iraq and Afghanistan. Since the faking of 911, those of us who have followed these ghastly events know how both the CIA and MI6 were used to provide false evidence to justify the Iraq war. A recent book on the subject of how the intelligence services were used to fake evidence that Bush and Blair instructed them to come up with is Neil Mackay's THE WAR ON TRUTH.

The shoddy way this latest show trial has been conducted has all the signs of a fait accompli about it. Flimsy, sometimes laughable, evidence was produced for the unfortunate five's convictions. The convictions themselves were draconian and meant to be exemplary, from 35 years to life meaning life.

It is early days yet to find too much evidence on the Net challenging the authenticity of these trials. That will come. Meantime, I'm making two links here to recent articles on Postman Patel's blog which has been quick to denounce the fakery of what has been a show-trial carefully manufactured for the needs of the mainstream media (MSM).

Islamophobia never really existed in its present full-blown form until Bush and Blair created it as a Goebbellian propaganda tool. Just as Hitler scapegoated the Jews as Germany's enemies so the diabolic twins nominated Muslims to be the twenty-first century's Jews. Islamophobia is nothing more than a convenient vehicle by which racism and imperialism is promoted while the fear of the (coloured) Other is used to project the aggressor's own violence onto his victim.

So Islam must lose twice. On the one hand its people are bombed to pieces in a Made in USUK hell on earth. Then they are blamed for daring to resist or retaliate, labelled terrorists and banged-up for life. So what are they supposed to do? Commit mass suicide like the Essene Jews at Masada? They don't need to. Their lives, held so cheap compared with every USUK soldier's, are being taken in liberal quantities every day. Much of the blood-letting is then blamed on 'sectarian terrorists' but there's never an investigation into the use of these terrorists by the USUK to destabilize populations and justify the building of walls and heavy 'security' policing. Or the regular use of torture that has been deliberately promoted by the USUK.

Any sensible person would be alarmed by the way in which Bush and Blair are staging show trials. For they are a thing of totalitarian systems, the very thing that the capitalist west used to get so self-righteous about when it was Stalin who was holding them. Unlike Stalin and Hitler, Bush and Blair have a very sophisticated corporate media apparatus which can be relied upon to give the proles their daily dose of lies, propaganda and brainwashing.

And in the present mind-bending epidemic of terror plots and show trials how many non-Muslims in Britain and the USA are able to understand that the real enemy we, the people, now face are not Islamic terrorists but criminal leaders who, with a pretence of the love of freedom 'n' democracy, are gleefully pushing us all to hell in a handcart? What does it take to wake up these sleepwalkers, these sheeple?

Coached witnesses were brought forward. Forced confessions were gained through illegal detention, and torture abroad. Threats and intimidation was used to hamper the truth. All with the trial judge seemingly intent to assist the prosecution almost every step of the way.

These were just some of the means used in the desperate effort to convict. Anyone looking impartially at the evidence would realise that there was no conspiracy to cause explosions in the UK, and that we did not pose any threat to the security of this country.

It is not an offence to be young, Muslim and angry at the global injustices against Muslims.

The Great 911 Deception & its Reptilian Effect

In their nightmare plans for the future of humanity, 911 was meant to be a symbolic act of terror, a gateway into the nether world of humanity's knee-jerk, flight or fight, reptilian mind. A mind based on fear and negative emotion.

About a month before the US Presidential elections in 2000 I had an overwhelming sensation of a huge cloud of evil enveloping humanity. In my mind's eye I saw a bottomless black pit into which this evil would drag us down to imprison and enslave us there for another entire cycle of the ages, to control us with an icy grip right down to the molecular level of being.

This force was truly reactionary. It was anti-evolutionary, of the reptilian mind, desperate to stop humanity from moving on to a more enlightened age on this Planet.

At that time, I wasn't paying much attention to the US elections. Switching on the TV one day, I saw George Bush and felt an emanation of the same negative energy I had felt before ever seeing him. I realized that this man was totally under the trance of that negative, anti-evolutionary, destructive force. Everything that has happened in the last seven years has confirmed those intuitions in an unbelievably horrific way.

On hearing about the attack on the Twin Towers, I felt that same dark vibration. Except this time, it had an element of black comedy about it. The entire reportage of that event had a sense of comic-book unreality, as if what we were being shown was somehow unreal, fabricated. Since then, it has even been suggested that what we saw as airplanes hitting the towers were, in fact, holograms.

Well, that theory had more than a whiff of disinformation about it and I merely mention it here to illustrate the feeling of unreality I got about an incident which, right from the start, felt to me as if it had been staged with the intention of terrorizing the public both in the US and elsewhere.

I couldn't swallow the official spin we were being given about Bin Laden, 'Al Qaeda' etc. I knew, I just knew because my intuition told me, that the terrorists behind 911 were George Bush & Co and the manipulators in the shadows who (a) had him nominated as a presidential candidate, (b) were behind the electoral fraud and thuggery in places like Florida, and (c) ensured that a thoroughly corrupted judiciary selected Bush in favour of Gore. And then it was repeated in 2004 when (d) several electronic voting machines 'malfunctioned' in favour of a Bush victory.

That is why I cannot bring myself to acknowledge Bush as President. He is not and should never have been allowed that office. He is, to put it bluntly, a usurper. He's a rogue and a criminal mass-murderer who, in the seven years, since the White House was first hijacked --yes hijacked, terrorist-style--has destroyed our constitutional freedoms and brought a terrible suffering upon the world's innocents.

No one in the MSM, either in the US or the UK dare say this. If they did they'd be fired on the spot. So you're just not going to hear anything approaching the truth on Fox, CNN, Sky, the BBC or Britain's 'independent' channels. They're all under the total control of that same dark force that forced Bush on the people of the US and the world. They're all part of the lying-machine whose purpose it is to keep the Bubble of Unreality afloat, to ensure that we, the common people, remain sleep-walkers unaware of the terrible thing that has befallen us.

That is why there is such a huge reality-gap between the MSM and the blogosphere where anyone is (at this time of writing) free to express themselves. And folk like me have Bush and Blair to thank for making us into bloggers. For it was only after another state-sponsored false flag event in London on 7 July 2005 that I decided to start this blog and to call it Chimes of Freedom, acknowledging the dark cloud of totalitarianism which the Bush-Blair Axis of Evil had cast upon the world.

Yet, this is still chickenhawk terrorism, hardly comparable to the Hitler kind. Not yet. Not in the West, except for the periodic staging of a terrorist event to shock and traumatize us all into a state of helplessness and cognitive dissonance1. The blitzkriegs the Bushes and the Blairs are conducting are against the innocent and the weak in Iraq, Afghanistan and Africa. True to chickenhawk nature, they can only pick on the defenceless. But the hidden forces that put them into power and keep them there are far worse, quite capable of planetary holocaust if things don't go their way.

The purpose of their evil game, for which they should be punished with hard labour for life, was to deliberately manipulate humanity's reptilian mind in their lust for unconditional power.
